Macauley Guardians
Macauley G.
Each year we organise an activity week for a large group of teenagers over the October half term. Right from the very first phone call, Dan & Heleen took the pressure off of us, they are both fantastic communicators, with regular emails/calls to confirm the agenda, timings, accommodation, and organising a personal chef, Dan and Heleen were with us every day of the trip, looking after the group and taking part in all of the activities, liaising with guides/instructors every day, and even made sure we never got lost by escorting us to all the destinations! The children had an amazing time, and so did all the adults too! An action packed schedule every single day, they made sure that the schedule was flexible to react to any changing weather conditions, and even went above and beyond with movie nights in a improvised cinema, prizes every evening for 'Adventurer of the day', and celebrated Halloween with lots of decorations and sweets etc etc, it was fantastic! This was our first time visiting Pembrokshire with Big Blue Adventure and we have already secured our time with them for next year!!Thank you Dan & Heleen, read more

Heleen leading a kids camp in Wales

Why We Love This…

“I love running kids camps in Wales because being in the outdoors and getting stuck in with our adventures really is one of the best ways for kids to bond. Trying out new experiences together will leave them with awesome memories. It’s really nice to see kids progress throughout the camp and we love doing all the extra bits like outdoor cinema nights and campfires with marshmallows!”
